It traverses the alveolar arch at the level of lateral incisor, middle third of the alar rim, the junction between the nasal bone and the frontal process of maxilla and medial end of the eyebrow and continues cranially as a number 12 cleft. Two such patients with interruption of the middle third of alar rim and asymmetrical hypertelorism are described.
