Summary

A Slide Organizing Unit (SOU) located in one room is presented. The slides are stored in suspension files, kept in steel cabinets. The slides are coded using a dual classification system. Slide retrieval is based on patient name or by disease or surgical procedure code. The SOU enables easy access for daily necessities such as teaching, scientific lectures, patient education as well as self evaluation.
