Abstract
Simultaneous peroral administration of 6-mercaptopurine (80 mg/kg per day) and subcutaneous injection of hydrocortisone (1 mg/mouse per day) for ten days results in increased lethality and more pronounced decrease in total peripheral leukocyte count and serum lysozyme levels as compared with mice receiving each drug separately. The possible mechanism of this effect is discussed.
