Summary
Cultured and isolated epithelial cells derived from a liver of a 7 day old rat were incubated in sera of scalded rats. The remarkable changes of cell morphology observed and the higher incorporation of lipids compared to controls are the first information about cell damaging substances in serum of scalded rats.
