Dynamical approach to superradiance through vacuum instability

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

A one-dimensional model of two-level atoms interacting with the radiation field is studied by means of the real-space renormalization group, and the spontaneous built-up of macroscopic polarization is exhibited. The relevance of the model for superradiance is also considered.
