Summary
We describe a 300 keV electrostatic ion accelerator for the production of fast neutrons. A special target assembly permits the α-particles from the T(d, n)4He reaction to be utilized for coincidence work and for monitorizing. For the latter purpose we use a silicon junction detector. The results of different measurements of the neutron flux are given.
