Abstract

Возможность трансформации прогестерона, стероида ≪S≫ (11-дезокси-17-гидроксикортикостерон), дегидроэпиандростерона и

исследовалась с точки эрения применения в дифференциальной диагностике стафилококков и микрококков.

Все штаммы вида Staphylococcus aureus без исключения редуцировали

на тестостерон. Другие qsтероидные соединения не атаковались этими штаммами. Штаммы микрококков не трансформировали ни одного из исследуемых веществ. Результаты свидетельствуют о возможности использовать редукцию

для диагностики вида Staphylococcus aureus, хотя автор установил, что некоторые штаммы вида Sarcina lutea также редуцировали
