Intralobar sequestration presenting as a coin lesion in an adult

Abstract

A 4l-year-old male presented with an asymptomatic coin lesion in the left lower lobe. The computerised tomogram was suggestive of pulmonary arteriovenous fistula. At surgery it was found to be an intralobar sequestration for which wedge resection was done. The pathogenesis, presentation and management are discussed.
