Conversion coefficient of the 87 keV transition in160Dy

Summary

The K-conversion coefficient of the 87 keV.E2 transition in160Dy has been determined from the photoelectron spectrum and the internal conversion spectrum of160Tb investigated with the intermediate image β-ray spectrometer.α K is found to be 2.0 ± 0.2 which is large compared with the theoretical value.
