Folk medicines of kurukshetra district (Haryana), India

Abstract

Information on 69 species and 66 prescriptions for therapeutic doses are given and medicinal applications of each species are presented. Popular names, empirical properties and manner of using prescriptions are described. The putative plant remedies are not evaluated nor are any chemical principles identified.
