Possibility of largeT-violation in certain pure leptonic scattering processes

Summary

A phenomenological model of weak interaction is presented. By introducing right-handed neutral currents of charged leptons, and by requiring the neutral current of neutrinos to be unique,T-violation in the process ν_ℓℓ → ℓν_ℓ, where ℓ = μ, e, and in the related crossed processes, in the lowest order is predicted. It is shown that the model is consistent with the data available on neutral currents. A possible experimental test of the model is also suggested.

Si presenta un modello fenomenologico di interazione debole. Introducendo una corrente neutrale destra di leptoni carichi e richiedendo che la corrente neutrale di neutrini sia unica, si predice la violazione diT nel processo ν_ℓℓ → ℓν_ℓ dove ℓ = μ e, e nei relativi processi incrociati, nell'ordine più basso.
