Phenology and seasonal above-ground biomass in twoScirpus maritimus marshes in the Camargue

Abstract

Scirpus maritimus is widely distributed in the Camarque, South of France. Two dense homogenous stands of this helophyte (P. R.: Petit Riège and B. C.: Baisse des Courlis) were compared throughout the 1978 growing season.
