Abstract

The idea of the hybrid character of natural rose populations, esp. from the subsectionEucaninae, is put forward. The frequency of individual taxa which differs in one diacritic character was counted in a characteristic region and the numbers obtained were statistically evaluated. For the time being the results seem to testify to genetic correlation between some of the observed species.
