Abstract

Colmeiroa F. v.Muell. ist a later homonym and therefore a new name is proposed—Paracorokia. Its systematic position is discussed: it seems to belong toCornaceae rather than toEscalloniaceae. SubgenusDiscocrania Harms of the genusCornus is published in a generic rank.
