Trent: A mid-season, high-quality table and processing potato variety

Abstract

Trent is a medium-early maturing, white-skinned potato variety with high specific gravity and very good table and processing quality. In Ontario, its yield is lower than that of Kennebec. It is moderately resistant to common scab and Rhizoctonia sclerotia.

Trent es una variedad de madurez medianamente precoz, tubérculos de piel blanca con alta gravedad específica y muy buena calidad para el consumo fresco, así como para el procesamiento. En Ontario, su rendimiento es menor que el de Kennebec. Es moderadamente resistente a la sarna común y a la Rhizoctoniasis.
