Abstract
Pyrola carpatica Holub etKřísa is described as a new species in the seriesIncarnatae Křísa and is compared with other representatives of the series and withPyrola rotundifolia L., a species with which it is usually confused. A more detailed note is devoted to the nomenclatural analysis of “Pyrola intermedia”, a name which has been used for the species by several authors.
