Abstract

A new series of O,O-dialkyl-S-[benzoyl-(o/p-benzylidene amino)] dithiophosphorates have been synthesised and their anti-acetylcholinesterase activity using rat brain homogenate was investigated. The maximum inhibitory activity was exhibited in compound 29 and the minimum in compound12. These compounds were also evaluated for their antihookworm activity againstNippostrongylus brasiliensis in rats andNematospiroids dubius in mice but none of the compounds showed any activity.
