Current algebra and form factors

Summary

Properties of the hadronic electromagnetic current are proposed which fall between those of the algebra of currents and the algebra of fields. The modified Cabibbo-Radicati relation is well saturated withSU 6 states to a first approximation, and an improved approximation, using data from nucleon form factors, gives the γNN * dipole coupling correct to 4%.
