Summary
Assuming a certain form of generalized lepton-hadron symmetry for a general neutral-lepton current, we obtain contributions to charged-hadron currents which explain the δI=1/2 rule and CP violation in weak interactions. Testable predictions of the model which are consistent with recent data are also made. This model does not suffer from the defects of previous models of this nature, in the literature. The model is also shown to be more consistent with the data on parity violation in atomic-physics experiments. The neutral-lepton current also accounts for the manifest\(\nu - \bar \nu \) distinction in neutrino scattering experiments.
