Summary
The investigation of the possibility of describing interacting particles by nonlinear realizations of the Poincaré group is continued. Lagrangians, defined in terms of the invariant geometry, are introduced as an aid to calculation, and various expressions for theS-matrix are discussed. A particular nonlinear action of the group, describing the pion, rho and nucleon, is set up, and some investigations of it are conducted. Finally, the ultra violet divergences of Lagrangian field-theory are shown to have a simple geometrical significance and their removal, by geometrical techniques, is discussed.
