Interactions with nuclear targets at cosmic-ray energies

Summary

The various characteristics of the rapidity of secondary particles in nucleon-nucleus interactions at cosmic-ray energies (~ 1012 eV) have been studied. The features investigated are: the dependence of maximum-rapidity-gap value on primary energy and multiplicity, the rapidity distribution and the rapidity difference distributions among the secondary particles.

Riassunto

Sono state studiate le varie caratteristiche delia rapidità delle particelle secondarie in interazioni nucleone-nucleo ad energie dei raggi cosmici (~1012eV). Le caratteristiche studiate sono: la dipendenza del valore del gap di massima rapidità dall’energia primaria e dalla molteplicità, la distribuzione di rapidità e le distribuzioni della differenza di rapidità tra le particelle secondarie.

Исследуются различные характеристики вторичных частиц в нуклонядерных взаимодействиях при энергиях космических лучей (∼ 1012 эВ).
