M. G. Magnussen, Ph.D., received his doctorate in clinical child psychology at the University of Kentucky and his B.A. and M.A. in psychology at the University of Iowa. Academic positions have been held in Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the universities of Cincinnati, Nebraska, and Pittsburgh. He is currently Professor and Director of Programs for Children at the University of New Mexico, Child and Adolescent Division of Psychiatry.
