In questo articolo si studia il ruolo svolto dalla struttura d'ordine dei reali nella teoria dei limiti e dei Γ-limiti.

Summary

In this paper we point out the important role played by the order structure of real numbers in the general theory of limits. We show that many properties of limits of real-valued functions hold in the setting of completely distributive complete lattices.
