Measured (n, p) reaction cross-sections and their predicted values at 14.8 MeV

Summary

(n, p) reaction cross-sections for some forty-five cases in the range 167≥A≥6 are measured by the activation technique at (14.8±0.5) MeV neutron energy. Measured cross-sections are compared with the cross-sections semi-empirically predicted by Gardner and Levkovskii. Experimental cross-sections are also compared with cross-section values obtained theoretically using a shell-dependent level density.
