Summary

  1. 1.

    The literature regarding cysts of the brain is briefly reviewed.

  2. 2.

    Clinico-pathological findings in a case of cerebral cyst complicated by broncho-pneumonia and pyaemic abscesses of the kidneys are recorded.

  3. 3.

    The gross and histological studies of the cerebral cyst do suggest a congenital origin.
