Summary
The fact that the breaking of chiral gauge symmetry in quantum field theory might be a genuine quantum effect for mass generation of gauge bosons is further studied in the lattice regularization of Weinberg-Salam model. We obtain the correct mass ratioM w = cos0 w M z . Moreover, we discuss whether or not chiral fermions are confined in strong bare coupling region.
