Decay of75Kr

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

The decay of75Kr is studied by means of conventional β-and γ-ray spectroscopy. Thirty-two γ-rays are observed in this decay and 31 of them are placed in a proposed decay scheme comprising 14 excited states in75Br. From the results of the present work the logft values for the various decay branches are deduced and spin-parity assignments for the ground state of75Kr and the states of75Br are made. The decay half-life of75Kr is determined to be (4.2 ± 0.2) min.
