Scaling and regge behavior in hadron scattering

Summary

Requiringa) the compatibility of scaling and Regge behavior in the kinematic region in which they both apply, andb) certain analyticity properties, we obtain in the context of the quark model a simple expression for the angular distribution of high-energy scattering. This expression is found to agree with experiment.
