On the clothing transformation in the lee model

Summary

The V-Nθ sector of the Lee model with Galilean invariance is studied by making use of the clothing transformation technique. We construct the most general unitary clothing transformation in the sector, by representing it in the basis of the bare states and find that a simple condition must be satisfied by the transformation functions in order to obtain a good potential description for the Nθ interaction. It turns out that if the Hamiltonian has at least one proper eigenstate such a transformation is always possible. Furthermore we show that in the limit of infinite coupling constant and infinite internal energy of the V-particle the potential goes to a well-defined form, which yields the limit of the scatteringT-matrix, while at the same time the «clothed» states become the bare ones. In particular the «bound-state limit» (Z → 0) is obtained in a natural way.

Si studia il settore V-Nθ del modello di Lee con invarianza galileiana, facendo uso della tecnica delle trasformazioni di vestizione. Si costruisce la più grande transformazione di vestizione nel settore, rappresentandola nella base degli stati nudi e si trova che le funzioni di trasformazione devono soddisfare ad una semplice condizione al fine di ottenere una buona descrizione dell’interazione Nθ mediante potenziale. Risulta che, se l’hamiltoniana ha almeno un autostato proprio, tale trasformazione è sempre possibile. Inoltre si mostra che nel limite in cui la costante di accoppiamento e l’energia interna della particella V sono entrambe infinite, il potenziale tende ad una forma ben definita, che dà luogo al limite della matriceT di scattering, mentre gli stati «vestiti» diventano quelli nudi. In particolare, si ottiene in modo naturale il «limite di stato legato» (Z → 0).

Исследуется V-Nθ сектор модели Ли с галилеевской инвариантностью. Мы конструируем наиболее обшее унитарное преобраэование одевания в зтом секторе, представляя его в баэисе голых состояний. Мы получаем, что функции преобраэования должны удовлетворять простому условию, для того чтобы получить хорощее потенциальное описание для N вэаимодействия. Окаэывается, что если Гамильтониан имеет, по крайней мере, одно подходяшее собственное состояние, то такое преобраэование всегда воэможно. Кроме того мы покаэываем, что в пределе бесконечной константы свяэи и бесконечной внутренней знергии V-частицы потенциал стремится к хорощо определенной форме, которая дает предел Т-матрицы рассеяния, хотя в то же время «одетые» состояния становятся голыми состояниями. В частности, естественным обраэом получается «предел свяэанного состояния» (Z → 0).
