Summary
The penetration parameters for fourM1 transitions in both191Ir and193Ir are evaluated using theL-subshell internal-conversion data. These penetration parameters are compared with the theoretical values calculated for different deformation parameters, in the framework of Nilsson's model. The structure of the low-lying levels is discussed.
