Towards a microscopic description of (6Li, d) reactions

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

The example12C(6Li, d)16O is considered to discuss under which proviso it is sensible to use the zero-range DWBA instead of the finite-range DWBA, to find out to what extent different parametrizations of the direct potential affect OCM results, to discuss the relation between reduced-width amplitude and radial wave functions within the OCM/RGM, to use wave functions generated by the phenomenological ESP for a (semi-) microscopic description of the captured α-particle in the residual nucleus. This microscopic description yields by far more consistent spectroscopic information than traditional macroscopic approaches.
