Single Regge-pole fit to 90° p-p scattering

Summary

It is shown that the Pomeranchuk pole alone can explain the break observed in 90° clastic proton-proton scattering differential cross-section if a reasonable trajectory is chosen and Legendre functions are used rather than their asymptotic expansions.
