Summary

Using a covariant formalism we parametrize two-body decays in terms of coupling constants and, for practical purposes, assume the lowest-order «angular momentum» barrier coupling to dominate. From a knowledge of the baryon decays an estimate of the order of magnitude of the interaction radius involved in strong decays is obtained and this is used to test the feasibility of the narrow widths of recently reported high-spin meson resonances (R, S, T, U).

Facendo uso di un formalismo covariante si esprimono in forma parametrica i decadimenti di due corpi-in termini di costanti di accoppiamento e, per scopi pratici, si suppone che l’accoppiamento di barriera del «momento angolare» di ordine inferiore predomini. Dalla conoscenza dei decadimenti barionici si ottiene una valutazione dell’ordine di grandezza del raggio di interazione coinvolto nei decadimenti forti e lo si usa per verificare se sono possibili le strette ampiezze delle risonanze mesoniche di grande spin (R, S, T, U) annunziate recentemente.

Используя ковариантный формализм, мы параметризуем двухчастичные распады в терминах констант связи, и для практических целей предполагаем, что преобладает связь барьера с «моментом» низшего порядка.
