Summary

Cyanotic spells and paroxysmal dyspnoea are common manifestations of severe form of Fallot's tetralogy. Palliative shunt procedures are done as a standard therapy. Where surgical facilities are not available drug therapy is worth trying. Beta-adrenergic blocking drugs are considered useful in this respect. Long term therapy of six cases of Fallot's tertralogy is reported and to the author's knowledge this is the first report of this kind from India.
