Application of a vector-meson dominance model to K and η decaysdecays

Summary

p-wave contributions to K→3π and η→3π decays are studied by means of a vector-meson dominance model. Thep-wave decay rate for Ks→3π is estimated. Dalitz-plot fits using the energy dependence of matrix elements from the above model, andp-wave decay rate estimates using a generalized spurion concept yield reasonably consistent results for thep-wave contribution to these decays.
