Summary

The absorptive correction to quasi-elastic scattering is included in the model proposed by Rix and the author for elastic diffraction scattering of hadrons at high energies. Prediction on the slope parameter of elastic\(p\bar p\) diffraction scattering for 0.008<|t|<0.12 (GeV/c)2 in the momentum range 12 to 70 GeV/c is given.
