Levels of70Zn from the inelastic scattering of 42 MeV alpha-particles

Summary

Energy levels of70Zn have been excited by inelastic scattering of 42 MeV α-particles. Spin and parity assignments to several levels have been made on the basis of the diffraction model and by comparison of level systematics of the even-mass zinc isotopes. The structure of70Zn is discussed in the framework of the vibrational model.
