Levels of⁷⁰Zn from the inelastic scattering of 42 MeV alpha-particles

Energy levels of⁷⁰Zn have been excited by inelastic scattering of 42 MeV α-particles. Spin and parity assignments to several levels have been made on the basis of the diffraction model and by comparison of level systematics of the even-mass zinc isotopes. The structure of⁷⁰Zn is discussed in the framework of the vibrational model.
