Optical-transmittance measurement method in the FOCA2 experiment

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

A method for measuring optical transmittance of calcites in condition similar to those of experiments involving single-photon techniques is described. The use of pulsed-light source together with coincidence technique yields high signaltonoise ratio, so allowing a more accurate valuing of the parameters of interest.
