Summary
Although there is no unitary transformation between the fractional and integrally charged quark states the rishon model can be used to map exactly the standard quark model of hadrons into the integrally charged-quark model, orvice versa, in particular into the (ev)-model. Only a rearrangement of quarks and a rishon pair process\(T\overline T \leftrightarrow VV\) is needed.
