Multifractal moments in high-energy interactions

Summary

The multifractal moments have been investigated for the various cuts on the number of medium-energy particles, the «grey» particles, in interactions with emulsion nuclei at an energy of 800 GeV/c. The analysis clearly shows evidence of a multifractal behaviour in accord with the predictions of the self-similar cascade mechanism.
