Summary
π+12C→π+n+11C reactions and the similar ones for14N and16O near the pion-nucleon 3-3 resonance are examined by means of isospin invariance. If any enhancement is assumed in a particular two-particle isospin state in the three-particle final states, three possible cases are found to yield the observed ratio of the reactions being unity.
