Intracranial tumours in children

Summary

Intracranial tumours in children constituted 33% of all intracranial tumours in our series. 73 cases of intracranial tumours in children have been reviewed with respect to their anatomical location, clinical features and pathology. Attention is drawn to the high incidence of tuberculomas in India. Children with intracranial tumours are referred in an advanced state which contributes to a high operative mortality. Earlyrecognition and treatment willensure better results.
