Summary
The efforts made in the direction of the mental health care of children, as a result of realization of the needs for comprehensive care of the child by pediatricians, have been satisfactory during the past two decades. Many child guidance clinics have come up. The difficulties in carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic procedures have been mentioned from every day working experiences in a child guidance clinic in the pediatric set-up. Some of the solutions to overcome these difficulties have been offered.
