Summary
The possible occurrence of Cooper-like pairs in infinite nuclear matter is examined in the frame of Brückner theory with a realisticN-N potential (RSC). It is found that they arise both in the3 S 1 and in the1 S 0 channel, the former being always favoured. Moreover a phase transition is found at low density, from a nuclear bound state to an assembly of deuterons.
