Mitracarpus longicalyx (Rubiaceae, Spermacoceae), a new species from northeastern Brazil

Abstract

Mitracarpus longicalyx is here described and illustrated from sandy areas of the caatingas of northeastern Brazil. The new species is similar toM. hirtus andM. megapotamicus.
