Summary
The model has been compiled for a company group in order to harmonize with the company pension scheme. Two different types of insurance have been introduced; the one comprising old-age pension, disability and orphan benefit, the other comprising additional benefits of the widow’s and widower’s pension. Based on the ADSt *) 1970/71, standard data calculations are determined — irrespective of the sex — and cash values for the maturity age of 60 are calculated. The insurance policies are taken out against continual single premium payment. The insureds may select between the two types of insurance. The conversion of the contingent reversion from the one type of cover to the other shall take place on a partner pension principle basis in taking a simple reference this is easily comprehensible for the insured to such a degree that a genuine possibility of option is provided. Apart from the fact that male and female are not differentiated, the model offers various advantages: Assessability of the costs, orientation of the costs to the salary costs as well as the exclusion of supplementary financial assistance, flexibility according to the profitability of the company and an uncomplicated administration. The model is imbedded in an approved type of company pension scheme: the staff pension fund; other structures, however, are in principle also possible. The business plan which has been compiled on this basis has been approved by the Federal Insurance Supervisory Authority.
