Die operative Behandlung der Unterarmschaftfraktur

Surgical treatment in fractures of the shaft of the forearm

Abstract

Im Zeitraum von 1977 bis 1987 wurden am Unfallkrankenhaus in Salzburg insgesamt 730 Unterarmschaftfrakturen, davon 142 operativ, behandelt. Wegen der unterschiedlichen Problematik der gelenkbeteiligenden Frakturen bzw. Gelenkluxationen einerseits und der Frakturen im Diaphysenbereich andererseits wurden in der vorliegenden Arbeit nur Frakturen im mittleren Schaftdrittel untersucht. Unter anderem werden Entstehungsmechanismus und HÄufigkeit von postoperativen Komplikationen aufgezeigt. 46% der Patienten konnten nachuntersucht werden, wobei funktionelle Ergebnisse und subjektive Beschwerden im Vordergrund standen.

Abstract

Between 1977 and 1987 at trauma hospital in Salzburg 142 patients with shaft fractures in the middle third of forearm have been treated by open reduction (altogether 730 forearm fractures in the same period). Among other things post surgical complications are examined. Functional results and reported troubles of patients are demonstrated by 66 cases which have been reviewed.
