Analytic continuation and asymptotic behavior in angular momentum of the scattering matrix in potential scattering

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

A simple proof is given of the fact that the scattering amplitude is a meromorphic function of angular momentum (for Rel ≤ -1/2) and that it vanishes asl → ∞ along any direction such that Rel → ∞.
