Autoimmune hemolytic anemia in infancy and childhood

Summary

Three cases of autoimmune hemolytic anaemia are reported. Two children responded well to steroids while the third failed to respond to steroids or immunosuppressive drugs. The investigation and treatment of such cases is discussed and the pertinent literature is reviewed.
