Summary
A nonlinear model of the nucleon has been developed as an extended object of Yukawa mesostatics, stratified according to a mass spectrum of virtual mesons. This object is suitable to simulate, as a transition to the condensed phase, the estabilishment of the nontrivial vacuum of the underlying subnuclear structure. The two-nucleon potential deduced from this model exhibits promising features.
